Meet the Team

Tim Rahman – Director of Worship & Creative Arts / Music Producer

Tim has attended Phoenix First since 2000.  Before joining the PFA staff in 2007, Tim was a dedicated volunteer, employing his musical gifts within the orchestra and rhythm band.  Tim is responsible for directing the Worship and Creative Arts Department and has a passion for attracting the un-churched to the Gospel through cutting edge worship, dramas, and productions.

Kris Hutson – Music Pastor / Choir & Orchestra Director

Kris and his wife, Debbie, met at Arizona State University and were married in 1984. They have been attending PFA since 1991. After 15 years of teaching instrumental music and 10 years of volunteering in the PFA orchestra, Kris came on staff as the Associate Pastor of Music in 2001. His responsibilities include directing the choir and orchestra along with performing pastoral duties within the music department.

Anna Feola – Administrative Assistant

Anna graduated from Word of Life Bible Center in 1997 and Word of Life Missions School (Uppsala, Sweden) in 2000.  After relocating to Phoenix with her family, she joined the music office staff in 2006 and is responsible for maintaining the office operations.  She has worked extensively in music ministry for 15 years and has a passion for serving the church wherever there is a need. 

Rachelle Swartzentruber – Music Librarian / Music Office Assistant

Rachelle graduated from Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri, with a bachelor’s in church music and has a well-rounded background in music ministry. She spent two months in Croatia teaching piano and directing children’s choir at a summer music camp.  She also served as assistant director of a church choir in Springfield.  Currently, Rachelle is responsible for many aspects within the music ministry here at Phoenix First, including working with the choir and frontline vocalists, facilitating the music library, and assisting in many office functions.  She also offers private voice lessons through our School of Music.

Worship Leaders   

Bringing different backgrounds, styles, and giftings to our music family, our team of worship leaders is always enthusiastic about leading the congregation in energetic and meaningful worship.  Whether on or off the stage, you will find them serving in numerous capacities within this local church; showing the world that worship is truly a lifestyle--not just what happens on the platform!  We are truly honored to have Shawn Henss, Jeff Duncan, Shawna Lummer, Kristin Rahman and Brock Baker as part of our team of Worship Leaders here at Phoenix First.
